Thomacho! Good one there.

But a few suggestions : The lyrics dont have a "meter". While slight variations on this may be ok in contemporary music, in traditional hymns and choruses, we need to have a consistent meter (which means you have to fit or adjust the words accordingly)

A meter is nothing but the number of "syllables" per line. So the meter for your first verse is 7 7 9 10 6 8

However the meter for your second verse is 8 8 11 14 12 11

Obviously the meters for the first verse and the second verse doesnt match at all - unless they do, it will be extremely difficult to come up with a consistent tune that fits all verses. (Minor variations in meter by 1 or 2 can possibly be adjusted by singing a word very fast)

Just my two cents worth :)

Yes, my summer is going good. I'm preparing for my audition (just to determine seating) at Baylor and getting ready for school to start again. I've been really buisy! I would appreciate prayer for myself, just discoving a true meaning in knowing Jesus. I want to live for Him, and now that I'm grown up that walk is all mine and no longer depends on my parents. I'm just trying to discover what it means to really walk with Jesus every day. :)
